Man Dies in Fresno County Crash After Vehicle Goes Airborne

Fresno County, CA (March 28, 2025) – A 30-year-old Tyrone Lee of Elk Grove tragically lost his life in a horrific crash on Manning Avenue Thursday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal incident happened on Manning Avenue near Highway 99.

Reports say that Lee was driving at high speed when he hit two raised concrete curbs. His vehicle went airborne, veered off the roadway, and landed on the highway below.

Authorities say Lee was ejected from the vehicle and struck by a passing car. He died at the scene. CHP also confirmed he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
