Police Investigate Two-Car Crash on Highway 83 in Laredo

LAREDO, TX (December 13, 2025) — A U.S. Postal Service mail carrier was seriously injured after a two-car crash on Highway 83 Saturday afternoon.

According to initial reports, the collision occurred around 12:20 p.m. near the intersection of Canones Boulevard and U.S. Highway 83. Authorities say the USPS driver was violently ejected from his vehicle upon impact. 

Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, his condition remains undisclosed.

Details about what led to the crash and whether any other individuals were injured have not yet been released. 

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
