Two Kearney Men Hurt After UTV Overturns in Putnam County
Putnam County, MO (April 30, 2026) — Two men from Kearney, Missouri, were injured early Saturday morning after a UTV crash on Route W in Putnam County.
The incident happened just before 1 a.m. along Route W in Worthington. A 40-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries when the UTV veered off the right side of the road and overturned. Emergency responders transported him by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville for treatment.
The 41-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and was taken by law enforcement to Putnam County Hospital in Unionville.
Authorities noted that the passenger was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash, while the driver was not.
