Horrific Vehicle Accident on Walnut Ridge Road Kills 1-Year-Old Boy [Webster County, MO]

Webster County, MO (June 29, 2025) – A tragic vehicle accident on Walnut Ridge Road on Saturday morning killed a 1-year-old boy from Seymour, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, just before 11 a.m., a 73-year-old Seymour man was backing up a tractor and did not see the toddler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened on Walnut Ridge Road, approximately four miles south of Seymour.

Emergency services pronounced the toddler dead later at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. This incident marks Troop D’s 54th fatality crash for 2025.
