1 Dead in Killeen Auto Accident on 3200 W Stan Schlueter Loop

KILLEEN, TX (February 24, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, a person died in a devastating vehicle crash on 3200 W Stan Schlueter Loop.

The incident happened at about 2:31 p.m. on the 3200 block of W. Stan Schlueter Loop. 

Investigators determined that a black Jeep Patriot was exiting a private parking lot when it was hit by a white Jeep Cherokee traveling eastbound.

The 54-year-old man driving the Jeep Patriot was airlifted to Carl R. Darnell Army Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The female driver of the Jeep Cherokee was taken to Advent Health and is in stable condition.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
