Horrific Vehicle Crash on East Fort Lowell Led to Injuries [Tucson, AZ]

Tucson, AZ (August 27, 2025) — Tucson Police reported that a stolen vehicle attempt turned into a vehicle crash on East Fort Lowell Monday morning.

According to authorities, the incident began just before 8:00 a.m. in the 5000 block of East Fort Lowell, where the victim was injured during the theft. The suspect drove off but later crashed the vehicle near Sunrise Drive and Craycroft Road, causing minor injuries.

After the crash, the suspect tried to flee but officers quickly located and arrested them nearby. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is assisting Tucson Police with the ongoing investigation.
