CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (June 2, 2024) – On Saturday, Vicente Ortiz Jr died after a devastating motorcycle crash on Kostoryz Road.

The incident happened on Kostoryz Road.

According to the Corpus Christi Police, a vehicle struck a motorcycle patrol vehicle for still unknown reasons. 

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the officer, identified as Senior Officer Ortiz Jr., died 10 days after the crash.

Furthermore, officers said that Ortiz was working traffic control for a funeral when the incident occurred.
