Woman Killed in High-Speed Crash Near Normandie and Gage in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (June 27, 2025) — Early Monday morning, a woman died after a violent two-vehicle crash on Normandie Avenue in the Harvard Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Emergency crews responded to the collision at approximately 12:40 a.m. near Normandie Avenue and Gage Avenue. Preliminary information indicates a blue Mazda SUV traveling at a high speed struck the rear of a white Honda HR-V.

The driver of the Honda, believed to be a woman in her 50s, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her identity pending notification of her family.

The Mazda driver sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
