VISALIA, CA – Driver Injured in Hit-and-Run 2-Car Crash at North Plaza Drive and West Goshen Avenue

One Person Hurt in Visalia Hit-and-Run Collision

 
VISALIA, CA (January 25, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized with major injuries following a hit-and-run two-vehicle crash at North Plaza Drive and West Goshen Avenue.
 
According to police, officers arrived at the scene to find a driver of a 2015 Nissan Altima suffering from serious injuries. Police were led to believe that the vehicle was involved in a crash with another car that left the scene.
 
The involved vehicle that fled was described as a Nissan Frontier that was heading westbound on West Goshen Avenue before it made a turn onto North Plaza Drive. The driver failed to stop at the red light and smashed into the Nissan Altima before fleeing.
 
Police are now searching for the driver of the 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup truck, which they believe may have sustained significant front-end damage.
 
The Altima driver was brought to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment. Anyone who holds insight into this crash is asked to call the Visalia Police Department.
