Deputy Weston Reeves Injured in Vehicle Crash on Highway 287 [Crockett, TX]

Crockett, TX (June 27, 2025) – Houston County Deputy Weston Reeves was injured in a vehicle crash on Highway 287 Thursday.

The accident report stated that Reeves was driving on the freeway at FM 2423 when another vehicle ran a stop sign and struck Reeves’ patrol vehicle. 

Reeve’s vehicle spun and rolled over at least once.

Rescuers rushed Reeves to a hospital in Crockett. 

Moreover, the paramedics checked on the condition of the other driver and released them. 

Officers said both drivers were not seriously injured.
