Arlington ISD School Bus Involved in Arlington Fatal Crash

Arlington, TX (February 26, 2026) – 67-year-old William Roberts was killed in a bicycle crash on I-20 Wednesday afternoon.

It was around 2:30 p.m. on February 18 when the deadly crash happened at the intersection with Treecrest Drive.

Investigators said an Arlington ISD school was about to turn right from Treecrest Drive onto the I-20 frontage road.

At the same time, an eastbound bicyclist, Roberts, entered the intersection.

The impact of the collision threw Roberts from his bicycle.

Responding officers found him lying in the roadway and the medical team rushed him to an area hospital in critical condition.

Roberts succumbed to his crash injuries in February 25.
