Evans, CO (August 7, 2025) – Authorities are seeking information about an unreported hit-and-run that killed 49-year-old Willie Joe Howery in Weld County.

Police began investigating the incident on Sunday after finding Howery near the interchange of Highway 85 and Highway 34. Preliminary findings suggest a vehicle struck and killed him, but the driver did not report the crash.
