Police Investigate Crash on MO-13 in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (June 17, 2026)— A Higginsville woman and an 8-year-old child suffered moderate injuries in a crash on MO-13 early Wednesday morning in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 49-year-old woman was driving a Ford F-150 on MO-13 when the vehicle crossed the center line and left the right side of the road.

The driver tried to correct the vehicle, but the pickup struck a fence and two light poles.

Emergency responders transported the woman and her 8-year-old passenger to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

Authorities continue to review the circumstances surrounding the crash.
