Austin, TX (February 21, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a horrific pedestrian crash on FM620 on Thursday evening that claimed a woman’s life.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the fatal crash happened around 7:30 p.m. at 400 N. Farm-to-Market Road 620, near Lexus of Lakeway.

Reports say that a vehicle struck and killed a woman in Lakeway on Thursday night.

Emergency responders, including ATCEMS medics and the Lake Travis Fire Department, responded to the crash site around 7:30 p.m.

By approximately 8 p.m., medics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Lakeway Police shut down traffic between Holly Lane and Clara Van Street following the crash. By 8:45 p.m., one lane in each direction had reopened. Authorities advised drivers to find alternate routes.
