Woman in 70s Killed in Fourth Avenue South Collision [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (May 25, 2024) – A woman in her 70s was killed, and several others were injured in a Fourth Avenue South collision Thursday.

The fatal collision happened at noon at the intersection with S Washington Street involving a taxicab and truck.

The responding crew extricated the taxi’s passengers and provided medical aid at the scene. 

There were five people in the taxi, including three women in their 70s, a male passenger, and a male driver. They were transported to Harborview Medical Center, where a woman in her 70s later died.

The truck driver suffered minor injuries. He was later arrested for investigation of vehicular homicide.
