Afternoon Pedestrian Crash on Imperial Highway in Santa Fe Springs

 
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (June 26, 2019) – A woman was injured Wednesday afternoon, after she was struck by a vehicle on Imperial Highway.
 
The incident happened around 12:06 p.m., at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Shoemaker Avenue. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
 
Police and fire crews arrived on scene and found a female pedestrian bleeding from the head. Paramedics later transported her to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.
 
No information was provided as to whether the car’s driver remained or fled after the crash. Investigators are still piecing together what led up to the crash.
