SPRINGFIELD, MO (May 5, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, a woman suffered injuries in a crippling bicycle crash on West Bypass and College Street.

The incident happened at about 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of West Bypass and College Street.

The crash occurred as the bicyclist attempted to cross West Bypass and was struck by a vehicle heading northbound. 

The woman was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities closed several lanes of traffic while the investigation was underway.
