66-Year-Old Woman Injured in Disastrous Pedestrian Crash on E Street and Woodlawn Avenue [Chula Vista, CA]

Injuries Reported in Chula Vista Pedestrian Accident on E Street and Woodlawn Avenue

CHULA VISTA, CA (April 6, 2025) – Friday afternoon, a 66-year-old woman suffered injuries in a disastrous pedestrian crash on E Street and Woodlawn Avenue.

The incident happened just before 2:30 p.m. when the San Diego resident pedestrian crossed the intersection of E Street and Woodlawn Avenue.

Police say a 94-year-old Bonita resident hit a pedestrian while driving through an intersection. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was not injured.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

According to Chula Vista PD’s Traffic Bureau, drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
