Police Investigate Crash on N.M. 502 in Santa Fe

Santa Fe, NM (April 23, 2025) – The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office reported that a woman sustained injuries in a crash on N.M. 502 Wednesday evening.

Emergency crews transported the 70-year-old woman to a hospital in Española with non-life-threatening injuries before transferring her to a hospital in Santa Fe, according to sheriff’s office spokesperson Denise Womack-Avila.

The two-vehicle collision happened around 5 p.m. near San Ildefonso Pueblo, close to where the Rio Grande flows under the highway. 

Authorities cleared the scene after about an hour.
