1 Dead in San Diego Crash on Interstate 15 and Camino del Norte

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 9, 2020) – Saturday morning, a woman died in an accident on Interstate 15 and Camino del Norte.

According to reports, the woman’s sedan skidded and was struck by a truck. Meanwhile, a witness revealed that the driver’s vehicle went airborne on the wet freeway south of Camino del Norte.

As the driver went toward the No. 4 lane, the driver then overcorrected and the vehicle spun across the freeway. Afterward, a truck hit the vehicle’s driver’s side.

The crash between the two vehicles sent the car into the center divider and caused a chain reaction crash.

Unfortunately, the female driver succumbed to her injuries at 7:40 a.m.

Both the Poway Fire Department and California Highway Patrol came to the crash scene. Meanwhile, the authorities let the three lanes to remain open on the southbound side during the investigation.
