Woman Killed after Car Crashes into Pole on Valley Circle Boulevard [Woodland Hills, CA]

1 Dead after Solo-Vehicle Crash near Lockhurst Drive

 
WOODLAND HILLS, CA (May 15, 2019) – A woman was killed late Wednesday morning after a car crashed into a power pole on Valley Circle Boulevard. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened near Lockhurst Drive, at about 11:55 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck a power pole before colliding with a tree.
 
A woman inside the vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene shortly after the accident. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash. Anyone with information is asked to cooperate with investigators as soon as possible. Further details will be released once they become available.
