Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Mission Ridge Road in Plano

PLANO, TX (July 24, 2026)— A 27-year-old woman died after a two-vehicle crash on Mission Ridge Road and West Parker Road, according to the Plano Police Department.

The crash occurred on Friday at approximately 2:40 p.m.

Investigators said the woman was riding as a passenger in an Infiniti QX56 when it collided with a Nissan Frontier. Following the initial impact, the Infiniti struck a nearby light pole.

The 27-year-old passenger died at the scene. Authorities are withholding her identity until they notify her next of kin.

Emergency responders transported the Infiniti’s driver to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Police said the occupant of the Nissan Frontier was evaluated at the scene and did not require transportation to a hospital.
