1 Dead in Oceanside Motorhome vs Pedestrian Accident on State Route 76 and Benet Road
OCEANSIDE, CA (May 15, 2022) – Early Saturday, a woman died in a pedestrian crash on State Route 76 and Benet Road.
The incident happened at around 4:30 a.m. on State Route 76 and Benet Road.
According to reports, a 56-year-old woman crossed the intersection against a red light. Then, a westbound motorhome struck her.
When police arrived, they initiated CPR. However, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
At this time, the victim’s identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Furthermore, the police do not believe alcohol or speed played a role in the crash.
Moreover, the husband and wife in the motorhome have been cooperative with the investigation.
By 8:00 a.m., the area has been cleared and the traffic resumed.
