1 Dead in Rancho Cordova Pedestrian Accident on Sunrise Boulevard and Highway 50
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (July 7, 2022) – Early Monday, a woman died in a hit-and-run crash on Sunrise Boulevard and Highway 50.
The incident occurred just before 2:00 a.m. on Sunrise Boulevard westbound on-ramp to Highway 50.
When the authorities arrived, they found a woman in the crosswalk with major injuries. However, she later succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
According to reports, a vehicle struck the woman and fled the scene.
At this time, the identity of the deceased remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
