A fatal hit-and-run crash is a devastating tragedy that can leave families with grief, shock, and painful uncertainty.
When a loved one is found deceased in the roadway, and the driver leaves the scene, surviving family members may be left asking who was responsible, why the driver fled, and what steps they can take next.

Hit-and-run investigations often require careful review of important evidence. Police may examine surveillance footage, vehicle debris, witness statements, roadway lighting, impact marks, traffic cameras, and nearby business or residential video.
Families may also face insurance complications when the at-fault driver has not yet been identified. Having experienced legal advocates can help ensure that critical evidence is preserved and that the family’s interests remain protected.
