Police Investigate the Snow Plow Truck Rollover Crash in Ferguson
FERGUSON, MO (December 3, 2025) — A City of Ferguson employee sustained serious injuries Wednesday morning when a municipal snow plow truck overturned near Ferguson Avenue and Sharondale Circle.
The crash occurred around 10 a.m. and involved a City of Ferguson Municipal Services plow truck carrying a full load of salt. According to the Ferguson Police Department, two workers were inside the vehicle at the time of the rollover.
Emergency crews transported the passenger, who suffered serious injuries, to a local hospital for urgent medical care.
The driver was unharmed and, per city protocol, underwent mandatory drug testing following the incident.
No other vehicles were involved in the rollover, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Ferguson Police Department is continuing to gather details about what may have led to the accident.
Despite the disruption, city officials assured residents that snow removal and storm services will proceed as planned.
City Manager John Hampton is coordinating with the Municipal Services Director to ensure minimal service interruptions.
