Three Killed, One Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on SR-503 in Clark County
Clark County, WA (July 7, 2026) — Three people lost their lives, and another was hospitalized following a wrong-way crash on SR 503 in Clark County early Sunday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened shortly after 2 a.m. just north of 179th Street. Investigators said a 2011 Dodge Challenger was traveling north in the southbound lanes when it crashed head-on into a Toyota 4Runner before overturning.
The two occupants of the Challenger died at the scene. Authorities said neither was wearing a seat belt, and their identities have not yet been released.
A 27-year-old woman riding in the Toyota 4Runner also suffered fatal injuries. Officials have not released her name. The 27-year-old driver of the SUV, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to a hospital for treatment. His condition has not been disclosed.
Authorities noted that both occupants of the 4Runner were wearing seat belts. Investigators are continuing to determine whether alcohol or other impairing substances played a role in the crash.
