WSP Officer Injured in 112th Avenue Collision [Lakewood, WA]

Lakewood, WA (December 19, 2025) – A WSP sergeant was injured in a 112th Avenue collision Wednesday morning.

The traffic accident happened before 9 a.m. on Steele Street.

Troopers stated that a pickup truck collided with the officer’s patrol vehicle.

The officers was then pinned inside his car.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the officer to the hospital with minor injuries. 

Investigators said the pickup truck’s driver was texting when she crossed over the center lane and hit the officer’s vehicle.
