Yamaha Rider Dies in Rear-End Crash on 91 Freeway [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (July 07, 2022) – On Thursday, a Yamaha V-Star rider sustained fatal injuries in a motorcycle crash on 91 freeway.

The fatal collision happened at about 4:45 a.m. on the eastbound freeway near Magnolia Avenue.

Officers say the victim was riding his motorcycle in the HOV lane when a Tesla Model Y approached from behind.

The impact of the collision threw the Yamaha rider from the motorcycle.

Sadly, the Riverside Fire Department paramedics declared the rider dead on the scene.

On the other hand, the Tesla driver did not sustain injuries from the collision. Officers did not arrest the Tesla driver.

The authorities are investigating the fatal collision near Magnolia Avenue. Though, they say that alcohol is not a factor in the incident.
