40-Year-Old Yasmini Camacho Injured in Arrow Route Collision [Fontana, CA]

Fontana, CA (Aug. 7, 2023) – On Aug. 3, 40-year-old Yasmini Camacho sustained serious injuries following an Arrow Route collision.

Investigating officers said it was about 9:10 p.m. when Camacho was crossing the road while pushing his food cart near the intersection with Hemlock Avenue.

The victim had been selling corn and shaved ice from his cart when a driver him him and drove away from the scene. 

Camacho was left lying on the ground with serious head, leg and ear injuries. According to him, he doesn’t remember much of what occurred that night, only waking up in pain in the hospital the following day.

The victim said he was able to survive the accident with the help of two good Samaritans.

Adrian Garcia and his girlfriend, Mikaela Montanez were driving by the area when they witnessed the collision and called 911. The couple ran over to help Camacho who was lying in the middle of the road. Camacho’s food cart was completely mangled and destroyed due to the collision.

Camacho has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home, though, he is still unable to walk. He said he feels sharp pains everywhere every time he tries to move his body.

Moreover, officers are investigating the incident and looking at any nearby surveillance video that could help identify the hit-and-run driver.
