Copperas Cove Man Young Yong Kim Dead in FM 933 Collision [Aquila, TX]

Aquila, TX (May 29, 2026) – Young Yong Kim, a 36-year-old Copperas Cove man, was killed in an FM 933 collision Monday afternoon.

It was before 4 p.m. when the deadly two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection with FM 1304 in Hill County.

Troopers said an Acura passenger car driven by Kim was westbound on FM 1304 when he approached the intersection with FM 933.

At the same time, a Ford pickup truck towing a gooseneck trailer was northbound on FM 933. 

Officers said Kim failed to yield right of way and collided with the Ford.

Police responded to the crash scene and declared Kim deceased.

Moreover, Care Flite EMS transported the Ford driver to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest with non life threatening injuries.
