76-Year-Old Zhuo Ming Lu Arrested in Grand Avenue Deadly Crash [San Francisco, CA]

1 Dead, Another Injured in Collision at the Pork Chop House

San Francisco, CA (April 30, 2026) – 76-year-old Zhuo Ming Lu was arrested following a Grand Avenue deadly crash Friday.

It was around 7:43 a.m. on March 27 when the fatal crash happened on the eastbound highway, on Jackson Street.

According to the investigators, Lu was trying to park his vehicle when it struck the two pedestrians and then into Pork Chop House.

Immediately, rescuers rushed the two victims to an area hospital, where one of them succumbed to injuries. The other patient was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Lu remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Moreover, the property manager of Pork Chop House said one of the pedestrians was delivering a carpet while the other victim was hit when walking on the sidewalk.

Troopers arrested Zhuo Ming Lu on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving at a speed greater than is reasonable.
