San Antonio Teen Killed in Apartment Parking Lot Crash in Medical Center Area

San Antonio, TX (February 10, 2026) – Ziba Mir Shadad, 10th grader at Marshall High School, was fatally injured following a Danny Kaye Drive accident early Monday morning.

It was past 6 a.m. when the deadly crash happened at the 6000 block of Danny Kaye Drive near Babcock Road, in Medical Center area.

Troopers said the victim who is around 15 years old and a resident at the Camaron Townhomes and Flats, was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot.

Rescuers rushed to the scene and declared Shadad dead.

The accident report stated that the involved driver fled before the officers arrived.

Moreover, the authorities identified the suspect driver in the morning and told the officers that they were unaware of the accident.

Officers are still investigating this fatal collision.
